An urban environment surrounded by nature, the region is fortunate to have two national parks on its territory, as well as an extensive network of cyclepaths, an architectural heritage dating back to the 17th century, a diverse cultural life and numerous nautical activities thanks to the St. Lawrence River, one of the world’s major navigable seaways.

National parks

The Mont-Saint-Bruno National Park features a downhill ski station, extensive trails for hiking and cross-country skiing, five lakes, an orchard, more than 200 bird species, some forty species of mammals and an historic water mill.

Located in mid-St. Lawrence River, the Îles-de-Boucherville Park is made up of five islands. Apart from its green spaces and canals, the park includes an 18-hole golf course and 11.5 km of waterside trails. Walkers, cyclists, canoeists, golfers and all nature lovers may all find pleasure in these grounds.
